You Move Me - Part II

The movers left Ashland about an hour ago on their way to meet Joni and Henry in Reading. They had the house in Ashland packed in about 45 minutes.

They moved Henry's bedroom, our bedroom, a lot of clothes, some miscellaneous furniture (kitchen table, desk chair, bookcase, TV cart) and all of the baby items stored in the basement (high chair, crib, swing chair [ready for kid #4 - thanks DLBJ!], activity center). The exercise bike, weight bench, bicycle, and about 200 lbs of weights are also in transit. Gonna get fit again!

We left the couches, breakfast bar, oriental dressers, carpets, and window treatments for staging. I have to break down the computer work station too. All of those items we are giving to our neighbor for them to keep or sell after we have the house under contract.

We will be back at least one day this weekend to start the painting and cleaning. I will try to remember to bring the cameras with us.

Our neighbor is starting the yard cleanup today. I will order the big load of mulch to cover the perimeter of the house and driveway and he will spread it around. I think he has a couple guys helping him, but they had not arrived by the time I left. There is a huge amount of brush, leaves, and tree limbs in the yard. I gave him the chain saw to make it easier.
