Baby Days

Here are a mess 'o pictures from the first (August 14, 2007) and second day of Samuel Emerson Holt's life. They are in chronological order, starting in the OR.

In the NICU

In the maternity room

Wow - that was just day one. Here are day two photos:

In current time, Samuel is growing leaps and bounds. We had our consultation with the surgeon and the Vascular Anamolies co-director 2 weeks ago. The ultrasound images indicated that he should have good results from sclerotherapy. We hope to have a date soon for the first procedure, which will probably happen in a few months.

Henry is trying to adjust to life with a brother and is having difficulty with his parents' divided attention.

Joni and I have both started going to the gym again. I have a goal of losing 8 lbs before my next doc visit; I think I am about half way there and have another 3 weeks to go.

This is a good weekend for apple/pumpkin picking! We went to Smolak's Farm last year. Click the link to see the pictures from last year - see how young Henry looks!
