Well I guess there has been some lag between postings. We had a very eventful pre-Christmas. Sam went in for his pre-op visit at Childrens on Thursday December 20th. Instead of preparing for his sclerotherapy procedure Jan 2nd, he was admitted for a probable infection in the tissue of his ear.
Because of the proximity to the lymphatic malformation, we had visits from Vascular Anomalies, general surgery, Infectious Diseases, Ear-Nose-Throat, and maybe one or two other specialties.
The short of it is he spent 4 days on I-V antibiotics before being released Sunday afternoon with a course of oral antibiotics for the next 2 weeks (finished yesterday!)
We were able to host the Christmas Eve dinner that night. I will get some pictures of that soon.
Christmas morning was fabulous. The photos are from Henry's kid-cam, a Fisher Price nearly indestructible digital camera. He took most of the pictures, including the first one of Sam in his chair.

The new pre-op appointment is now January 22nd and the procedure is scheduled for February 13th.
Don't forget to look for us on Skype. Our Skype name is HenrySam. I can always plug in the camera for live video phone calls!
